GREEK BUTTER BISCUITS

Preheat oven to 160C/140C fan/gas mark 3
Cut the cold butter into small cubes and mix with all the other ingredients in the mixer. Keep a bit of flour for shaping the biscuits.
Knead well until you get form a dough.
If the dough comes out too soft and sticks, leave it in the fridge for a while to rest.
Shape the dough into cookies around 25g each. Transfer to baking pans lined with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the egg with the milk and brush the cookies.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown.
